Create content from Attio company briefs
Connect Attio to VidGuy to turn company details and brief notes into content. Your AI Content Team can draft scripts and captions, help generate assets, and propose a note containing drafts or asset links on the same company record.
Connect your workspace
- Sign in to VidGuy.
- Open Brand Hub → Integrations.
- Find Attio and choose Connect.
- Review the requested permissions in Attio, select your workspace, and authorize the connection.
- Return to VidGuy and confirm that Attio shows as connected.
You need permission to install apps in the Attio workspace. VidGuy uses Composio to manage the connection, so its authorization screen or callback domain may appear during setup.
Create a draft from a company brief
In a new VidGuy chat, select @Attio and name the company you want to work with. Include its domain if several records have similar names. For example:
@Attio Find Daybreak Coffee and read its content brief notes. Draft three short video concepts with a hook, script, and caption for each. Show me the drafts first.
VidGuy can search company records, read their details, and read their notes. Give it a specific company and task so it can work with the right brief. Review the draft before asking VidGuy to create assets or save anything.
Save drafts or asset links to Attio
Ask VidGuy to save the selected content as a note on the company record. For example:
@Attio Prepare a note on Daybreak Coffee with the three approved concepts. Title it “VidGuy content drafts”.
VidGuy displays an approval card with the note title, content, and target record details. Review the card and choose Approve to create the note. Dismissing the card leaves Attio unchanged. Open the company’s notes in Attio to see the result.
You can also ask VidGuy to include links to finished assets that you have reviewed and can access. Video generation uses your VidGuy plan and credits; connecting Attio does not include additional generation credits.
Permissions and data
The integration requests permission to read object configuration and records, and to read and write notes. These permissions let VidGuy find company records, understand their fields, read brief notes, and create an approved note. Attio grants these permissions at workspace scope; selecting a company in chat directs the task and does not narrow the OAuth grant to that record.
Company details and notes used in a chat are processed by VidGuy and its integration and AI service providers to complete your request. See the privacy policy and terms. Only include information you are authorized to use for content creation.
Disconnect or troubleshoot
- To disconnect, open Brand Hub → Integrations → Attio → Disconnect. You can also revoke the app from your Attio workspace settings. Notes already saved in Attio remain there.
- If a company cannot be found, check its name or domain and confirm that it is in the connected workspace.
- If authorization or note creation fails, reconnect Attio and check that the required permissions were granted. Refresh the company’s notes before retrying a save so you can check whether the first attempt created it.
- For help, email behfar@vidguy.xyz with a description of the issue. Do not send passwords or OAuth secrets.
