Zeely AI Review and the 9 Best Zeely Alternatives in 2026

What Zeely does well, what it really costs (including the fee on your ad spend), and nine tools that do the same job or a bigger one. Real prices, honest trade-offs, and our video review.

Looking for Zeely alternatives? We tested Zeely AI on camera in October 2026, checked its real pricing, including the fee it takes on your ad spend, and compared it with nine tools that do the same job or a bigger one. Short version: Zeely is good at making ad creatives and pushing them into Meta. If you also need organic content, AI influencers, or someone to post for you, there are better fits.

The short answer

VidGuy is our top pick if you want ads and organic content from one tool, with AI influencers, MCP autopilot and hosted TikTok and Instagram accounts run by real people. Stay on Zeely, or pick Creatify, if launching paid Meta ads from inside the app is the whole job. Pick AdCreative.ai for static banners at volume and Blaze AI if you run a local business and want posting on autopilot.

Zeely AI review: what it is and how it works

Zeely (zeely.ai) is an AI ad maker for small sellers. Its homepage promise is to create, launch and scale winning ads with AI, and it claims more than 2 million users. You add your product or store, and Zeely generates image ads, AI avatar videos and UGC-style video ads with models like GPT Image 2, Nano Banana 2, Seedance 2.0, Kling 3.0 and Veo. Then you launch the ads to Meta from inside Zeely, since it is a Meta Business Partner, and track spend, CTR, CPA and ROAS on its dashboard. There are web, iOS and Android apps.

What Zeely does well

  • Many ad formats in one place: static ads, podcast-style ads, avatar talking heads and UGC for e-commerce
  • Runs current models (GPT Image 2, Kling, Seedance, Veo) behind one credit balance
  • Launches campaigns to Meta and ranks your ads by spend, CTR, CPA and ROAS
  • Competitor ad library covering 10,000+ brands, plus ad cloning and batch variations
  • Easy to use: 4.6 stars from about 23,000 App Store ratings
  • Cheap entry price: $29.95/mo on the current launch discount

Where Zeely falls short

  • Built for paid ads. It can post Zeely-made content to Instagram and TikTok, but you cannot upload your own media, and organic at scale is not its focus
  • Takes a 12% fee on ads launched through its partner ad account (6% with Booster)
  • No hosted or managed TikTok and Instagram accounts, so you still run your own profiles
  • No free plan. The intro offer is paid and rolls into Growth at $79.95/mo
  • Unused credits expire at the end of the billing period when you cancel
  • Paid ad launching is Meta only. No TikTok or Google ads

Zeely pricing in 2026 (and the fee most people miss)

Zeely has three plans. All three include the same features. The only difference is how many credits you get. When we filmed our review on October 21, 2026, Zeely was running a launch discount, so these prices sit well below its list prices.

Zeely planPrice nowList priceCredits per month
Starter$29.95/mo$49.952,500
Plus$49.95/mo$89.955,000
Growth$79.95/mo$149.9510,000

The service fee on your ad spend

The subscription is only part of the bill. When you launch Facebook and Instagram ads through Zeely's partner ad account, it charges a service fee of 12% of your ad budget. A Booster add-on at $39.95 a year cuts that to 6%. Here is what that looks like, using Zeely's own examples:

SetupMathMonthly total
Starter + $200 ad spend, 12% fee$29.95 + $200 + $24$253.95
Plus + $500 ad spend, Booster (6% fee)$49.95 + $500 + $30$579.95
Growth + $2,000 ad spend, 12% fee$79.95 + $2,000 + $240$2,319.95

The fee scales with your budget, not with the work. At $2,000 a month in ads, the fee alone ($240) is three times the Growth plan. The fix: Zeely says there is no service fee when you launch from your own Meta ad account, so connect it if you stay. Tools that hand you the creative and let you launch in Meta Ads Manager yourself, like VidGuy, AdCreative.ai or Canva, never touch your ad spend. Sources: How much does Zeely cost in 2026 and Zeely service fee (help center).

Trials, app pricing and credits

Zeely has no free plan. Its help center describes paid intro plans instead: 2 weeks for $19.95, 4 weeks for $29.95 or 8 weeks for $49.95. When the intro ends, the account moves automatically to Growth at $79.95 a month. Several 1-star reviews describe exactly that: a $19.95 start, then a $79.95 charge.

The apps price differently from the website. The US App Store lists a 1-week plan at $19.99, 1 month at $59.99, 3 months at $119.99 and 1 year at $199.99. Plan credits reset every billing cycle. When you cancel, unused credits expire at the end of the period, including extra credits you bought. Source: Zeely intro plan (help center).

Is Zeely legit, and is it worth it?

Yes, Zeely is legit. Zeely, Inc. is a Delaware-registered company started by a Ukrainian team in 2022, and TechCrunch covered its $1M seed round in 2023. The app holds 4.6 stars from about 23,000 App Store ratings and 4.3 on Google Play. Trustpilot shows 4.4 from about 4,400 reviews.

Two caveats. The visible 5-star Trustpilot reviews carry the Invited label, meaning Zeely asked for them. And 12% of reviews are 1-star, mostly about surprise renewals, refused refunds and slow support. Zeely's refund policy says payments are non-refundable except where the law requires it or at its discretion. Happy users mostly praise how easy it is.

Is it worth it? For a small Shopify or DTC seller who buys Meta ads and wants fresh creatives every week, yes, it can be. For anyone who needs organic content at scale, wants to post without opening TikTok, or spends a lot on ads, the fee and the ads-only focus add up fast. That is where the alternatives below come in.

Why people look for Zeely alternatives

AI ad tools are normal now. Most marketing teams use AI, short-form video brings the best return, and Meta's own AI ad tools already reach millions of small businesses. So the category is crowded, and Zeely is one choice of many. These are the reasons we hear most:

  • They need organic content every day, not just paid ads
  • They do not want a 12% fee on ads run through Zeely's account
  • They want to try before paying, and Zeely has no free plan
  • They want someone else to post for them, from accounts they never have to open
  • They want to run the whole thing from Claude or their own agent

Hosted TikTok and Instagram accounts are an add-on. Real people set them up, warm them up in your niche and post your VidGuy content for you. See the full breakdown on the VidGuy pricing page.

Zeely vs VidGuy, Creatify, Blaze AI and Canva

These are the four tools people compare Zeely with most often. Here is the honest one-paragraph answer for each.

Zeely vs VidGuy

Zeely is an ad tool: it makes creatives and launches them into Meta, and it takes a 12% fee on ads run through its own ad account. VidGuy is a content agent: it makes ad creatives too, but it is built to keep your organic channels busy every day with UGC, slideshows, carousels and AI influencers, and its hosted accounts post for you. Pick Zeely if a Meta campaign launcher is what you need. Pick VidGuy if you want the creative and the posting done for you across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.

Zeely vs Creatify

These two are the closest match. Both make AI avatar video ads and image ads, and both launch ads to Meta. Creatify is cheaper to start (a free plan, then $15/mo), adds TikTok and AppLovin launching, and has the bigger actor library. Zeely bundles more static-ad tooling and a Meta-first campaign flow, but it has no free plan and launches to Meta only.

Zeely vs Blaze AI

Blaze is an organic marketing autopilot that also runs Meta ads. Zeely is an ad creative tool that also schedules posts. If your business lives on steady social posts, blogs and emails, Blaze fits better. If you mostly buy Meta ads and need fresh creatives every week, Zeely fits better. Zeely also makes AI avatar and UGC-style videos; Blaze does not.

Zeely vs Canva

Canva is a design tool: you build each ad yourself from a template, with AI helping along the way, and Canva Grow can push the finished ads to Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn. Zeely writes and generates the ads for you, including avatar videos. Canva is cheaper and gives you more control. Zeely is faster when you need many variations and do not want to design them by hand.

Why VidGuy is the strongest all-round Zeely alternative

One of our users found us while researching Zeely. Their AI search told them VidGuy did more for less. Here is what they meant. Zeely makes ads. VidGuy makes ads too, and it also keeps your organic channels busy every day and posts for you.

  • Ads and organic content on one plan: UGC, hook plus demo, slideshows, carousels, podcast clips, food dramas, animation and swaps
  • AI influencers with 100% character consistency, each with a studio, content packs and even livestreams
  • Run it all from Claude through the VidGuy MCP server, or let your influencers schedule their own content
  • Hosted accounts: real people in the US, Germany, France, Latin America and more set up, warm up and post to your TikTok and Instagram
  • Specialist agents for ad research (spy), shorts clipping and editing
  • Credits live inside your plan, so scaling up does not mean constant top-ups

See VidGuy for your use case, connect Claude or Cursor through the VidGuy MCP server, or try the free AI video tools first. Comparing more ad tools? Read our Arcads alternatives and Fastlane AI alternatives guides, or browse the VidGuy blog.

How to cancel your Zeely subscription

Switching tools? Cancel the right way so you are not billed again. Where you cancel depends on where you subscribed.

  1. 01On the web: log in at app.zeely.ai, click your profile circle (bottom left), then your email, to open Account settings.
  2. 02Open Subscription & payments, click the arrow on your current plan, then Cancel subscription. Pick a reason and confirm. The page shows the date your access ends.
  3. 03In the iPhone or Android app: tap your plan button (top right), then Manage subscription, then Cancel subscription, then I still want to cancel.
  4. 04Paid through Apple or Google? Cancel in Settings > your name > Subscriptions on iPhone, or Play Store > Payments & subscriptions on Android. Zeely says it cannot cancel or refund Apple purchases.
  5. 05Turn off Booster on its own, under Subscription & payments > Booster. Cancelling the plan does not do it for you.
  6. 06Do all of this at least 24 hours before renewal, and spend your credits first. Unused credits expire when the billing period ends, and deleting the app cancels nothing.

Want a refund? Zeely's policy treats payments as non-refundable except where the law requires it, but you can still ask through Zeely support. Steps from the Zeely help center, checked October 22, 2026.

How to choose the right Zeely alternative

Decide if you need ads, organic content or both

If paid Meta ads are the whole plan, an ad tool with a launcher (Zeely, Creatify) is fine. If you also want daily TikTok, Reels and Shorts content, buy one tool that does both, or you will end up paying for two.

Count the real monthly cost

Sticker prices hide three things:

Fees on ad spend

A percentage fee grows with your budget. At $1,000 a month in ads, a 12% fee is $120, more than most plans on this list.

Credit expiry

Most tools here expire unused credits, some after a month and Creatify after two. If your volume is spiky, that waste adds up.

What the price includes

A $30 ad maker plus a $79 posting tool plus a scheduler costs more than one $99 agent that writes, voices, captions and posts.

Check how it handles billing

Billing complaints show up across this whole category on Trustpilot: trials that convert, renewals people did not expect, credits that vanish. Before you pay, read the cancellation terms, set a reminder for any trial end date, and pay monthly until the tool proves itself.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Zeely alternative in 2026?

For most brands, VidGuy is the best Zeely alternative because it makes ad creatives and organic content in one plan, keeps AI influencers consistent across posts, runs on autopilot through MCP, and offers hosted TikTok and Instagram accounts run by real people. If you only want a cheaper ad maker that launches to Meta and TikTok, Creatify is the closest match. For static banners at volume, pick AdCreative.ai.

Is Zeely legit?

Yes. Zeely, Inc. is a real, Delaware-registered company started by a Ukrainian team in 2022, and TechCrunch covered its $1M seed round in 2023. The app has 4.6 stars from about 23,000 App Store ratings, and Trustpilot shows 4.4 from about 4,400 reviews. Two caveats: the visible 5-star Trustpilot reviews are company-invited, and most 1-star reviews are about auto-renewals, refunds and support. Read the billing terms before you pay.

Is Zeely worth it?

Zeely is worth it if you run Meta ads on a small budget and want creatives plus a campaign launcher in one app. It is less worth it if you need organic content at scale or want to post without touching your phone. If you stay, connect your own Meta ad account, because ads launched through Zeely's account carry a 12% fee that grows with your budget.

How much does Zeely cost?

On October 22, 2026, Zeely's website listed Starter at $29.95/mo (2,500 credits), Plus at $49.95/mo (5,000 credits) and Growth at $79.95/mo (10,000 credits), shown as discounts from $49.95, $89.95 and $149.95. Ads launched through Zeely's partner ad account carry a 12% service fee (6% with the $39.95/year Booster). Launching from your own Meta ad account has no fee. App Store prices differ, from $19.99 a week to $199.99 a year.

Is Zeely AI free?

No. Zeely has no free plan. It sells paid intro plans (2 weeks for $19.95, 4 weeks for $29.95, 8 weeks for $49.95) that move automatically to Growth at $79.95/mo when they end. If you want to test before paying, VidGuy, Creatify, HeyGen and Canva all let you start free.

How do I cancel my Zeely subscription?

On the web, log in at app.zeely.ai, open Account settings from your profile, go to Subscription & payments, open your current plan and choose Cancel subscription. In the app, tap your plan button, then Manage subscription, then Cancel subscription. If you paid through Apple or Google, cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions instead. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal, turn off Booster separately, and use your credits first, because they expire at the end of the billing period.

Zeely vs Creatify: which is better?

Creatify is cheaper to start (free plan, then $15/mo or $10/mo yearly), launches to Meta, TikTok and AppLovin, and has up to 1,500 AI actors. Zeely has no free plan and launches to Meta only, but bundles a Meta-first campaign flow and batch static ads. If you also need organic content and posting, VidGuy covers both.

Make the ads. Then let VidGuy post the rest.

Start free, make your first ad or organic video in minutes, and let VidGuy publish it for you.
